More Week 4 updates

                                                We had a taste test for our Sense Unit!

                                    We also cooked "Cool Cocoa" for the letter Cc last week!
                                            That is what you see on the tables.

  

This week, we learned the letter Ff.  We learned its sound, how to write it, and words that started with Ff.  We read the Billy Goats Gruff and practiced retelling a story by acting it out.  We are working on using our big voice  to get along with our friends and keeping our hands to ourselves. We are learning to identify the color blue, sort objects by color, and compare heights of objects.  We have been learning color songs to go along with our color unit.  Each child will bring home a blue poetry folder with the color songs.  Please read them with your child over the weekend and then return the folder on Monday so we can add more poems. We reviewed our senses again this week.  Above you will see some pictures from our taste testing last week.  We tasted salty pretzels, sour gummy worms, bitter baking chocolate, and sweet tarts.  Some of us liked the tastes and others made some funny faces!
