Oct. 8th is a school holiday for students and teachers. Don't forget to use your child's State Fair ticket that day. We sent them home in your child's red folder.
Oct. 15th is a Staff development day. K-5 students will have the day off, however, Pre-K and daycare will be open. Since the rest of the school is off, Pre-K students will need to bring a sack lunch/drink that day. The cafeteria will not be open. If it is a pretty day, we may picnic out on the picnic benches.
Tomorrow, we will be sending home a Book It! reading log with your child. Please keep track of the minutes you read to and with your child by coloring in the calendar. At the end of each month, return the calendar signed and your child will receive a certificate to get a free personal pizza from Pizza Hut and a sticker Passport card. If your child participates in the Book It reading program all 6 months, they will receive a reading certificate from me at the awards ceremonies at the end of the year. Happy reading!
