We are studying about Community helpers. Police Officer Graham came to see Pre-K this week to help us learn what police officers do.
He showed us all of his tools and told us how he used them.
Wow! Handcuffs are heavy!
He showed us his reflective vest that he uses to direct traffic during an accident.
His hat had a cool badge on the front of it!
He even shared his flashlight with us. It was very bright, so he could see in the dark.
Look at his walkie talkie! This is how he communicates with the dispatcher.
We had a great visit with Officer Graham! He did a super job telling us all about his job as a police officer. The kids all told him that they wanted to be police officers when they grow up.
