Don't forget to dress up for Red Ribbon Week

RED RIBBON WEEK ACTIVITIES
October 22nd – October 27th
During the week of October 22nd – October 27th we will be celebrating our annual fight against drugs.  Red Ribbon Week is the most recognized drug prevention event in America.   Please join us as we pledge to be drug-free by taking part in our series of events during this week.
Monday, October 22nd _ Red Ribbon Recognition Day: Wear red clothing
Tuesday, October 23rd A Healthy You is Drug Free:  Wear your team jerseys, sweats or work-out clothing
Wednesday, October 24thSock it to Drugs: Wear your craziest or mismatched socks with your Spirit Shirt
Thursday, October 25th Real Life Hero Day:  Dress in an article of clothing from someone who inspires you.  For instance, dress as a family member, coach, community member, or celebrity.  Use your imagination! Be ready to share with your class who inspires you
Friday, October 26th Super Hero Day:  Use your super powers to defeat drugs.  Dress as your favorite super hero or invent your own super hero who uses his/her special powers to eliminate drug abuse and protect America!  Please make sure that clothing is comfortable and safe
Additional Red Ribbon Events
Students will receive Red Ribbon souveniers throughout the week!
Wednesday:
Students will see a Red Ribbon Presentation from the Council of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.  Presentations are scheduled throughout the day during PE.
APEX Fun Run Fund-raiser Kick off at 2:30!
