We have been studying the letter Pp this week. We read a big book, called "The Painter." We painted a picture with watercolors. We discussed Halloweeen safety and traditions. We made pumpkins and spiders. We drew a picture of what we wanted to dress up like for Halloween.
I have completed the Pre-K assessment called CPAA and I am finishing up individual testing this week. We do not send out a report card this first nine weeks, however; I will be setting up parent conferences soon to let you know how your child is doing in class and how they did on the testing.
We had our first Fire Drill at school. They did great! No crying! Yea!
The Apex team taught us a lesson each day and we can't wait to run the Fun Run on Friday at 8:15 a.m. Don't be late! We will head out to the field as soon as the bell rings and then come back in after the run to eat breakfast. We have raised $200 dollars so far. Keep those donations coming in. The students have earned an extra recess, a hat day this Friday, and a PJ day coming up next week. Thanks so much for getting the donations!
Reminders:
1. Don't forget to bring donations for Math Night by Nov. 1st. We need bags of candy corn for our activity. Math Night is Nov. 5 at 6p.m. Please send the form back to RSVP for the event.
2. We need more Lysol wipes for the classsroom. If you can donate some, we would appreciate it.
