This week has been a full week for Pre-K! We learned to be a good audience this week. We sat through many programs and had to learn to be a good listener. We were visited by Dallas Police Officer Graham, a Red Ribbon Speaker, the Apex Fun Run Coaches, and we got to see the PTA rehearsal show.
The older grades were having 9 weeks tests so we had to change our schedule this week and we have been very confused about the order of our day.
We learned the letter Oo this week. We continued our study of community helpers. We did lots of estimation and measuring in math with our pumpkins. We found out that pumpkins can float. We thought since they were so heavy that they may sink. What a surprise! We also learned how pumpkins grow. Ask your child to tell you the sequence of how a pumpkin grows. We made a hat with the life cycle of a pumpkin. Today we tasted pumpkin seeds. Boy they were yummy!
